KGB kidnapped its own renegade agent in Austria for secret trial in Russia

Publication time: 6 August 2012, 17:59

As reported by Austrian media only on August 2, the KGB kidnapped its own renegade political agent in Austria's capital of Vienna, a 48-year-old lawyer Erich Rebasso, on July 27. Rebasso's lawyer's silver Mercedes was found in Vienna and there were traces of blood in the trunk. The lawyer was seen going to his car in an underground car park, but footage of the car leaving the car park shows someone else at the wheel of his Mercedes.

Rebasso spoke Russian and had numerous Russian clients among Putin's crooks and thieves from the ranks of KGB officers and generals. Since the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991, he was actively involved in helping the KGB to wash money in the West through at least 11 phony companies he had created in Vienna, the city which has been always considered as the center of Russian espionage in Western Europe.

The KGB lawyer was first of all a Russian political agent in Austria. Thus, in 2009, as reported by Georgian media, he was involved in promoting in Austria and Georgia a puppet Moscow candidate for Georgian presidency, Alexander Ebralidze, and even went to the Georgian capital of Tbilisi on his behalf in secret missions.

In 2008, Rebasso was named in a fraud case in Russia where between 25 and 30 investors were cheated out of between fifty and sixty thousand Euros each. Rebasso went to the police and claimed his name was wrongly being used, and he was not involved. Nobody believed him in Russia.
