The official organ of the Italian state police, Polizia di Stato, the magazine "Modern Police (Polizia Moderna)", published in its latest issue a very long article about so-called "Islamic terrorism" that always provides the police with secured higher ranks and salaries.
The authors of the article "The Converted (Le convertite)"
, director of information department on international counter-terrorism Claudio Galzerano and employee of information department on international counter-terrorism Vincenzo Di Peso, are worried about a large number of Christians accepting Islam in recent years.
In their view, this is due to the fact that "at present, al-Qaeda is trying to compensate the weakness of its operational capacity, due to significant losses of personnel and equipment (and that pathetic rubbish was written against the backdrop of tremendous successes of the Mujahideen of al-Qaeda in Africa and Yemen! - KC) by spreading their ideology in order to primarily recruit new supporters".
The police noted that "a new front of the religiously-motivated terrorist threat was opened with the recruitment of young women, often Westerners, who convert to Islam" and write:
"In the United States and some European countries, there is a phenomenon of conversion to Islam of the women who are in some cases married to Muslims and have more radical views than women being in the Islamic religion from birth.
There are examples of converted women who provide financial and logistical support, act as messengers and perform specific operational tasks, such as the American convert to Jihad Colleen LaRose who was arrested in 2009 on charges of planning terrorist attacks in Europe.
Then there are others who are engaged in a kind of propaganda and recruitment, especially on the Internet, weaving a dense network of connections".
After that, the Italian political and religious police authors made an excursion into the history of the Italian police since the late 1990s.
Much discontent of the Italian security services cause enlightening activities of Barbara, aka Umm Yahya Aisha, who admires a Muslim woman, hated by European police. The woman is a converted enlightener Malika El Aroud, whose husband, a Tunisian Moez Garsallaou, participate in Jihad in the Afghan-Pakistan border area.
Of course, the European Democratic intelligence services could not tolerate the converted Muslim woman with thoughtcrime views.
The Italian state policemen write:
"In May 2008, in an interview with New York Times, she said:
"My role is not to make bombs. But I have a weapon. That is my writing. That is my jihad. With words, you can do many things, and writing has the same effect as a bomb".
Malika El Aroud was arrested 7 months after this interview within the framework of Belgian anti-terrorism activities and now serves an eight-year sentence in prison for her terrorist ties.
Our Barbara has never concealed her admiration of Malika El Aroud. So she opened the site ummusama.wordpress.com for newly converted Italians and a virtual library which is dedicated to the Belgian terrorist Malika and is called Madrasa (Islamic Library).
This site is also used by Barbara for collecting signatures and petitions in support of the innocence of Malika El Aroud, and it also translated from French into Italian a book "Les Soldats de Lumiere (Soldiers of Light)", in which Malika El Aroud pays tribute to her husband Abdelsattar Dahmane, who was a "material executor" of the murder of the head of the "Afghan Northern Alliance" Commander Massoud on September 9, 2001.
The Barbara's blog specializes in publishing texts, translated into Italian, which draw attention to the tasks assigned to women jihadists.
The examples are the titles of the articles themselves: "Il ruolo delle sorelle nel jihad, or Role of sisters in Jihad" (taken from kavkazcenter, a Chechen jihadist website), or a story from the hadith about the legitimacy of women's participation in jihad and, in particular in the armed struggle".
Concluding their article about the participation of European women converts in Jihad, the Italian police embarked on the reasoning that on one hand, the European women "are accustomed to emancipation, and on the other hand, men are dominating in Islam". According to police, this contradiction has been successfully solved as follows:
"The western Islamist, as it seems, found a prestigious social position in religious and ideological furor which would otherwise send her to the traditional Islamic community". These are intellectual (propaganda, proselytizing, translation and dissemination of texts) and pseudo-moral activities (support of the fighters, education of the sons in Jihad)".
"Currently, Barbara lives with her sons in the UK, from where she continues to fulfill her obligation", lament the Italian state police.
